Pet Safety When Walking With Your Dog At Night

Whether you are a dog walker or pet owner, there are a lot of risks dog walking at night. There are animals lurking about, potholes, street repairs and people driving. There have been so many times where I use to live, where people were walking their dogs and I could hardly see them. I fell one night walking Chester, dropped the leash and  scraped my knees.  There went Chester running around the yard!  To keep our pets save and prevent either of you from being hit by a car or tripping or having an unknown animal approach,  you need to have a light to “light” the way.  If you do drop the leash, you can see where your dog is running!

There is a difference in lights when walking your dog.   I found and use the PupLight Dog Safety Light. The benefits are:

  • You and your dog are kept safe.
  • Very easy to use.  Fits right over your dogs collar.
  • You can see where you and your dog are walking.
  • You feel safe at night.
  • You can see your dog at night while he runs in the fenced backyard.
  • Can help you locate your dog if he gets loose.
  • Keeps you and dog safe from cars.
  • You can walk longer with your dog.
  • Dogs that have poor vision can see better.

How does the Puplight work:

  • 3 Ultra-Bright white LED’s illuminates up to 200 ft in front and 70 ft wide.
  • You and your dog are visible from 3 blocks away and 1.5 blocks behind.
  • Light shines brightly for over 150 hours.
  • Rim keeps light from shing in your dogs eyes.

I have some friends that have fenced in yards and they let their dogs run around at night.   With the Puplight you can see if there are any other animals around your pet.  If you live in a wooded area, the PupLight Dog Safety Light would be a great asset. Especially if coyotes lurk about.

Remember that it only takes a second to keep you and your pets safe.

I LOVE the puplights. I can see my dark colored dogs easily at night.
